The notice of intention to adopt the Integrated Environmental Management Plan (IEMP) of the Square Kilometre Array project (SKA Phase 1) as an environmental management instrument , in terms of section 24(2)(e) of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998) (“NEMA”), has been published by Minister Bomo Edna Edith Molewa under Government Notice 213 in Government Gazette 41498 of 16 March 2018, for public comment.
Comments can be submitted within 30 days of publication of the Notice to Mr. Alfred Mocheko at: E-mail AMocheko@environment.gov.za (Tel: 012 399 9315).
